What are you looking for ?
Finding the correct wedding venue can be a really daunting task and there are so many thanks to think about .......
- How many guests are you inviting?
- Do you have a theme in mind ?
- Do you want to be married in church and travel to the reception or hold it all in one place ?
- Are there children coming ? Do they need somewhere to play ? Will the venue cater for children at all ?
- What kind of wedding photo's do you want ?
- What happens if it rains ? Is there enough room inside for everyone ?
- Do we want modern or old or a mix of the two ?
- How far is it ? How many will it sleep and are there alternative hotels nearby ?
- Does it have facilities for older guests
- Are the rooms split so people are all over the place
- How far do I have to walk in my dress and heels ?
These are all questions which need to be taken into consideration before choosing your venue. Have a look at when the venues hold their wedding fairs and pop along and meet the team. Remember though, these things book quickly and up to two years in advance through peak months ...... however, if you look at week days you could find a billy bargain.
