Higher Trapp House

Higher Trapp House Wedding Photographer | Lancashire Wedding Photography

Higher Trapp House is situated in a little village called Simonstone in the Ribble Valley. The house was originally built as a private dwelling in the early 1900's and later converted into a hotel. As a Lancashire wedding photographer, I have shot many weddings here and the staff are simply flawless and I guarantee a brilliant wedding day here.

The bridal party usually gets ready in 'The Girls Room' which has plenty of space for everyone and a huge mirror for the make-up ladies and hairdresser. The bridal party then moves to the bridal suite usually to dress the bride and for some portraits. This room has a huge bay window and lovely light spilling in, perfect for showing you off in your wedding photographs.

Weather permitting, you can get married outside in the gazebo at Higher Trapp in Lancashire. The staff always keep the ceremony room inside set up just in case there is a sudden downpour but what a gorgeous location for your wedding photographs. This is a great opportunity as your wedding photographer to get a group shot whilst I have everyone together outside and the steps up to the house just call out for it.

After all the eating and drinking, the gazebo is a perfect way to sneak off from the masses for a bit of you time, and what a perfect way to complete your wedding album.
